A place where children thrive - and parents can breathe

Incredible Kids Mid Ulster is a non-profit social enterprise, soon to be a registered charity, providing safe, inclusive and meaningful support for children and young people with additional needs - and the families who love them.

We understand the challenges. We understand the juggle - the appointments, the assessments, the school runs, the sleepless nights. Our wraparound care is built around real family life, giving your child a place to play, learn and connect while you take the time you need. Because when parents get the chance to recharge, the whole family feels the difference.

Who we are

Founded by two women who know this journey inside out - professionally and personally.

Kate

Co-founder · Special Needs Teacher

Kate has been a Special Needs Teacher for over 20 years, supporting children and young people with a wide range of abilities and needs - with a particular focus on autism and co-occurring conditions. For Kate, play is the way children learn to communicate, interact and advocate for themselves. She is skilled in helping children discover their strengths, find regulation and build personal strategies, as well as establishing routines for toileting, sleep and new environments.

Roisin

Co-founder · Parent Advocate & Educator

Roisin is a proud mum of three neurodiverse children and has spent over 20 years working in education and training. Her personal journey, alongside her professional experience, gives her a deep understanding of the daily realities faced by families of children with additional needs. She is committed to supporting, empowering and advocating for parents and carers across her community.

Our services

Fully registered for Special Education Needs (SEN) childcare, we offer flexible wraparound support built around real family life.

After-School Club

Monday - Friday · 1pm - 6pm

Up to four hours a day of structured, engaging support - a helping hand with homework first, then plenty of time to play, unwind and connect in a small, supportive group.

  • Local school pickups - Dungannon, Cookstown & Coalisland primaries and special schools
  • Small group sizes with experienced SEN staff
  • Fun and inclusion for everyone, with ongoing feedback for parents

Saturday Club

Saturdays · 10am - 2pm

A fun, inclusive weekend space where children can play, learn and connect - and parents get a well-earned few hours to themselves.

  • A safe space to make new friends

Holiday Clubs

School holidays · open 50 weeks a year

When school's out, we're in. Indoor and outdoor play for children aged 2-12 with additional needs, keeping routines steady through every holiday.
